A small demountable transformer that can be used for the study of electrical transformer theory and operation. Ideal for experiments by the individual student or small group of students. Quantitative experiments can be performed with sufficient accuracy. Step down/up operation with the included primary coil of 120 turns of insulated copper wire and 2 interchangeable secondary coils of 60 and 240 turns of copper wire, respectively.
Safe operation with the primary coil input of AC 4 V. You need a low voltage AC power supply, voltmeter, ammeter and connecting wires.
