Quality spectrum tubes that are widely used with spectroscopes and spectrometers, or simply with diffraction gratings, to show the characteristic spectral lines of various substances. Consists of glass tube with overall length of 26cm with capillary portion about 10cm long to concentrate the discharge glow. Glass-to-metal seal wires are welded in metal end caps.
These tubes can be operated in standard spectrum tube power supplies of the type such as the catalog Item No. K-479850, as shown in photo. Except for Neon tube, these spectrum tubes are not to be used as a lamp source; for intermittent use only.
