An enlarged (500× life size) representation of a cross and longitudinal section of a typical monocot leaf. It is especially designed for general science and high school biology courses. Differentiating colors are used to indicate the layers of specialized tissues and other important structures. The model is made of durable PVC and hand painted in attractive colors.
