Product Overview
The burner tripod is constructed with a cast-iron ring and nickel-plated steel support legs. The legs can be removed for storage. The tripod is 6 or 9 inches tall and has a ring that is 3 or 4 inches in diameter, depending on the model. A burner tripod is used as a platform to hold and support glassware, such as beakers and flasks. A wire gauze is generally placed on top of the tripod and under the glassware.
