Product Overview
This package contains 500 grams of Nutrient Broth, designed as a general-purpose growth medium for culture flasks or tubes. It provides all the essential nutrients needed for the growth of a wide variety of bacteria and some fungi. The dehydrated broth is conveniently stored in a plastic open-mouth bottle. To prepare, mix 8 grams of the medium with 1 liter of deionized water, bring to a boil while stirring to ensure complete dissolution. Autoclave the mixture for sterilization. Each bottle yields 62.5 liters of broth.
This product is specifically designed for use in science education laboratories, and a certificate of analysis is not provided.
