Product Overview
Designed for production of small amounts of gas, especially carbon dioxide, oxygen, acetylene, chlorine, and hydrogen. Solid reagent is placed in the bottle, and the liquid (usually an acid) is poured into the thistle tube, filling up the base and reacting with the solid. Gas is withdrawn through the connector tube.
Gas Generating Bottles come with a 2-hole rubber stopper, a thistle tube, and a 90° connector tube. Available in capacities of 250 and 500ml.
