Product Overview
This package contains 100 grams of Sabouraud-Dextrose Agar, suitable for cultivating various fungi and yeast species in petri dishes or culture tube slants. The dehydrated agar is conveniently stored in a plastic open-mouth bottle. To prepare, mix 65 grams of the dehydrated agar with 1 liter of deionized water and bring to a boil while stirring to ensure full dissolution. Autoclave the mixture for sterilization. Pour the mixture into petri dishes or culture tubes, then allow it to cool and solidify. Each bottle yields 1.5 liters of growth medium.
