Product Overview

An inexpensive means to observe spectra from various light sources and to measure the wavelength of light. Consists of a plastic film, on the surface of which the pattern of a master grating with 1000 lines per mm has been impressed. The film is mounted in a 50 mm square cardboard holder with an aperture of dimensions (l × w): 35 × 35 mm.
The 1000 lines/mm film is an ideal choice for emission spectroscopy experiments as it allows the spectrum to be spread over a broad area, and the cardboard holder has a wavelength scale printed on it for semi-quantitative analysis of spectra.
