Product Overview
The Laser Diffraction Apparatus, Projection lets teachers create and project on a surface such as whiteboard a variety of diffraction slit patterns. The apparatus is an integral handheld type and includes red laser in a convenient mounting housing and a slit wheel with click lock. To change the slit being illuminated by the laser, the slit wheel is rotated to the next click, which locks another slit into position. The laser beam can be aimed through the slits using two thumb screws at the base of the wheel.
The following patterns are included: Single Slit, Double Slit, Line Grating, Razor Edge, and Thin Wire. Diffraction patterns at a Circular Obstacle—Poisson's/Arago's spot—and at Circular Aperture—Airy disk—also can be demonstrated with this apparatus.
Projection distance: 3-20 m. Dimensions (w × d × h): 190 × 60 × 150 mm. Uses two AA batteries (not included).
