The SCIEDCO 'g' by Freefall Ball (g-Ball) is a fun way to measure the acceleration due to gravity and make empirical measurements to illustrate the laws of motion. The g-Ball contains an accurate timer with millisecond resolution. Timing starts when you release the ball and stops when it comes in contact with another surface. Switch between time in seconds and acceleration in m/s2 with the click of a button. The minimum drop height is 1 m and maximum drop height is 9 m. Outer shell is made of soft silicone rubber 8 cm in diameter. Comes with the button/coin cell battery installed (uses single CR-2032 type).
