Description
A rheostat offers a resistance that can be altered in a continuous manner. This unit is an excellent alternative to the higher priced larger rheostats and the performance is the same. Heavily oxidized resistance wire is wound uniformly around a porcelain cylinder and contact is made via a slider with two wide contacts. The slider moves the entire length of the rheostat. There are two binding screw terminal posts fitted to facilitate external connection via an alligator clip or spade terminal. For use in in extra-low voltage circuits (<50 V).
