For visualizing the electrostatic lines of force due to various electrode configurations. Similar to the catalog Item No. 28-660400, but the electrodes are sealed in a transparent acrylic case that holds chopped hair freely suspended in a fluid of proper viscosity. When connected to an electrostatic machine or to an induction coil, the hair aligns along the lines of force giving a clear representation of the electrostatic field. Sold as a set of five acrylic cases with various electrode configurations as shown in the picture.
