Product Overview
The Magnetizing and Demagnetizing Coil features a 200 mm long solenoid with a 46 mm internal diameter, precision-wound with insulated copper wire and securely mounted on a durable base. Equipped with 4 mm jacks and an on/off switch, it demonstrates the principles of magnetism by magnetizing or demagnetizing iron bars, strips, magnets, and other ferromagnetic materials.
Designed for use with 12V AC/DC power at 6A, the coil magnetizes when connected to either AC or DC, and demagnetizes when powered with DC. Its sturdy construction (size 37.5 × 24 × 10 cm, weight 2.9 kg) makes it ideal for classroom demonstrations and laboratory instruction.
