Molded rubber discs with tapered socket for supporting Buchner funnels, Gooch crucibles, filter tubes, etc., in filtration assemblies. Strong enough to support load under vacuum, sufficiently resilent to provide seal. The adapter need not to be fitted closely around the funnel stem. Effective when any part of funnel body makes contact. Positive seal is broken gently when vacuum is released. Eliminates boring of special size holes in rubber stoppers and difficulties of insertion and removal. Color may be white or green due to difference in suppliers.
