Archimedes’ Principle Kit – Student Version
This hands-on kit allows students to directly explore buoyancy and the principles behind fluid displacement. It includes an overflow can, a graduated bucket, and a hollow cylindrical float with top and bottom rings for easy handling. Three cylindrical masses can be inserted into the float to vary the submerged volume and mass, enabling a wide range of investigations.
Both the bucket and float feature printed milliliter scales for easy measurement of displaced water, reinforcing the relationship between volume, mass, and buoyant force.
Required but not included: 2.5 N spring scale; optional retort stand for support.
