The P=F/A Apparatus makes it possible to establish or verify the pressure=force/area relationship according to the size of the force F applied to a surface area A that is perpendicular to the force.
It allows the study of:
-pressure as a function of F (mg) for a constant area A
-pressure as a function of area A for a constant force F
The device features a set of 3 interchangeable surfaces of different area and a scale graduated in mm to precisely measure the sinking depth. It uses a special non-toxic polymer material very sensitive to pressure (included). You need a set of hooked or slotted weights in the range of ~10-100 g, available separately.
