Product Overview
The basis of operation of the Venturi meter or tube—that the pressure at a constriction in a pipe in which a gas or liquid is flowing is less than at points on either side of the constriction—is demonstrated by this apparatus. Consists of a flow tube and two U-tube manometers to be filled with colored water. Air is blown into the flow tube, and the relative pressures are indicated by the water level in the U-tube manometer. Includes a syringe for filling the U-tubes with colored water and several spare pieces of silicone rubber tubing for connecting the U-tube manometers to the flow tube.
