This LED object is designed for imaging experiments with lenses and mirrors and produces very sharp images compared those obtained with incandescent bulb illuminators or wax candles. Comes with a steel mounting rod for use in optical benches and detachable plastic base for use on a bench top with lenses or mirrors in free standing holders. Operates on 2 AAA batteries.
