This is a heavy, plain-woven cotton fabric apron suitable for general lab work.
Advantages of cotton duck fabric:
- It has a relatively smooth surface that isn't prone to snagging and tearing.
- It is somewhat burn-resistant. A few small sparks or hot ashes won't ruin the fabric, unlike synthetics that end up with tiny pinholes everywhere in the same situation.
- Offered in dark blue, generally doesn't look very dirty even when it is.
- Machine washable (cold water only). Tumble dry without heat, or air dry.
