Of natural rubber, with molded-in valves and bulb 53 mm in diameter. Three steel ball valves open by pinching. Can be operated conveniently with one hand, providing control within 0.01 ml. Dimensions (L x Bulb O. D.): 130 mm (5.1") x 53 mm (2"). Opening diameter: 7 mm (0.28").
Single squeeze of bulb draws up to approximately 35 ml. Larger pipets are easily filled by repeated operation:
- Upper valve "A" vents bulb and keeps it collapsed.
- Valve "S" in lower stem applies bulb suction to pipet for filling.
- Side arm in lower stem contains valve "E" which vents pipet for delivery.
- Small bulb is squeezed to expel last drop.
