Designed for student group experiment. This self-contained apparatus allows for a qualitative investigation of the force on a conductor carrying electric current in a uniform magnetic field and for testing the 'hand' rules. Two-in-one design allows user to perform the electromagnetic swing and rolling rail experiments. Includes a U-shaped magnet. You need a DC 3 V power source such as two D-cells in battery holders and conecting wires.
