Cylindrical masses, with hooks on either end, bottom hook retractable (except for the 200 g mass, where the hook does not retract, but can be removed permanently, if desired—instructions supplied). Made of chrome plated steel. Set includes 1 x 10 g, 2 x 20 g, 2 x 50 g, and 2 x 200 g hooked weights in a handy plastic storage case. Manufacturing tolerances are: 10 ± 0.1 g, 20 ± 0.2 g, 50 ± 0.5 g, 200 ± 2.0 g.
Useful for a variety of physics experiments, e.g. as loads or weights in the dynamics and motion demos, and in investigations on simple machines and the conservation of energy.
