Sampling surface area templates, in stainless steel thickness 1 mm. For flat surfaces, templates help create a known area for surface sampling with a swab or sponge. This can be used to check effectiveness of cleaning and sanitation procedures; in food processing plants to assess hygiene based on the number of microorganisms in the sampled area expressed as CFU per cm². Available with sampling areas 2.5 x 2.5 cm (6.25 cm²), 5 x 5 cm (25 cm²), 5 x 10 cm (50 cm²) and 10 x 10 cm (100 cm²).
