The Erycard™ ABO Blood Typing Individual Kit provides a quick, hands-on method for determining the ABO blood type of real human blood in under five minutes. Ideal for classroom and teaching labs, the kit uses a card pre-loaded with lyophilized anti-A and anti-B antibodies, along with a built-in negative control.
A small blood sample is applied to each well, followed by the wash buffer that flows across the card. Wells containing red blood cells that agglutinate will remain red, indicating a positive reaction. Non-agglutinated cells rinse away, leaving the well white for a negative result.
Designed for clear, easy-to-interpret reactions that support instruction in immunohematology.
