Compact, lightweight, hand-held units. Totally self-contained, with electrode mounted directly in the meter housing. Provides LCD readout of pH over range pH 0 to 14 with 0.1/0.01 pH unit resolution. Accuracy ±0.1/0.02 pH, respectively. "Hold" pushbutton can be used to lock reading on display. Readings are automatically temperature-compensated over range of 0 to 50°C.
Spherical glass pH sensing bulb and reference junction are recessed in plastic guard at bottom of meter. Removable boot protects electrode when not in use. Housing is of high-impact plastic. Overall dimensions (l x d): 188 x 38 mm; weight 82 g. Operates on four 1.5-volt, type LR44 or AG13 button batteries, NOT included.
Supplied with one packet each of pH 4.01, 6.86 and 9.18 buffer powder and user's guide. Each calibration buffer packet makes 250 ml of standard buffer solution. Unprepared, these have a very long shelf life. Replacement buffer packets are available as sets of 3, one each of pH 4.01, 6.86 and 9.18.
