Product Overview
Two rubber lungs are attached to a Y tube (representing the trachea and bronchi) which is inserted in a rubber stopper in the top of a transparent plastic bell jar (the rib cage). A diaphragm of sheet rubber dam is stretched over the flange of the jar. When it is pulled out, the lungs expand; when it is pushed in, the lungs colalpse. The model measures aproximately 11 cm x 21 cm in size.
