Product Overview
The Loop-the-Loop apparatus consists of a 1200mm long graduated aluminum track with a loop of 150mm in diameter and two adjustable plastic supports. A catch basket is attached to the lower part of the track to capture the ball after use. Use this apparatus to investigate potential and kinetic energy, as well as the amount of energy needed for the ball to successfully complete the loop. Raised end of the track has a solenoid for release of steel sphere, and a photogate is mounted above the track for timing motion. This product is specially designed to be used with our Cat. No. A-355600 intelligent timer (sold separately).
