Product Overview

The IEC Digital Colorimeter is a compact, microprocessor-controlled instrument designed for educational and laboratory use. It simplifies colorimetric analysis by using internal LED light sources—eliminating the need for separate color filters—and encourages student engagement through manual LED selection.

Four integrated LED light sources cover the red, yellow, green, and blue bands of the visible spectrum. Zero calibration, range selection, and LED control are all managed automatically by the internal microprocessor, making the unit both accurate and user-friendly.

If the internal 9V battery is low, the display shows a “bAt” warning. The unit can also be powered via a standard 120V/12V AC or DC plug pack (not included, available separately). To conserve battery life, the instrument powers down automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity.
