For insertion or removal of magnetic stirring bars. Flexible PTFE rod, 7 mm (0.28") diameter, with Alnico magnet sealed in one end. Chemically inert, with smooth surface which repels water and to which materials do not adhere. Can withstand temperatures from the cryogenic range up to 260°C (500°F), making it suitable for recovery of stir bars even in hot solutions.
