Apparatus contains: (1) Thick wall aluminum can - approximately 1 L with nozzle for steam outlet, (1) Aluminum sample carrier, (1) Spring handle, (1) Tripod cast base, (1) Size 13 stopper, (1) Size 13 stopper with hole for thermometer.
Volume held is typically enough for 2 stations for 1 lab period. Excellent for experiments in heat and as a source of steam for thermal expansion (linear rod expansion) type experiments.
Caution: Creating steam is a dangerous process and creates high temperature gases and pressure. This product is for scientific lab use only under qualified supervision at all times.
