Product Overview
Used as a source of steam, wherever needed in the laboratory, such as for thermal expansion (linear rod expansion) type experiments. Comprises a cylindrical copper body with a conical top having short narrow neck for sealing the mouth at the top using rubber stopper and is fitted with a nozzle for steam outlet and loop handle. A transparent plastic tube connected vertically to the reservoir through small L-shaped tubules near top and bottom indicates water level to prevent dry heating of the boiler. Capacity: 1.5 L.
