Product Overview
The apparatus utilizes a Digital Signal Generator from 10Hz to 300Hz and a Vibration Generator to produce mechanical vibrations along a length of a string under tension. The waves generate nodes & antinodes, and their full wavelength or half wavelength can be read off the wave rail. The frequency and amplitude of these waves may be varied with the use of the Frequency and the Amplitude controls of the Signal Generator. The effects of altering the frequency of the waves, the tension of the string, the material of the string, and the length of the string, may be easily observed. Operates on 110/120V, 60Hz.
