A vibration generator for exciting oscillations and waves mechanically, e.g. in coil springs, a cord, a wire ring or metal strips. Generator in robust plastic housing including mounting pin with 4 mm socket for attaching accessories. Generator equipped with overload protection and is driven by a loudspeaker for smooth oscillations and fine travel stepping.
An audio generator is capable of producing frequencies ranging from 0.1 Hz to 200 kHz. It offers the ability to generate both sine and square waves, with square waves quickly shifting between two distinct levels. For ease of use, it provides four frequency options: 100 Hz, 1 kHz, 10 kHz, and 100 kHz. The frequency can be precisely adjusted using a knob located on the upper right corner. Additionally, the unit includes a jack for a 5.5-watt speaker, controlled by a dedicated amplitude knob. With its sine and square wave capabilities, it provides versatility for various educational applications in wave theory and sound experiments.
Included accessories are the Longitudinal Wave Spring, Transverse Wave Cord, Resonance Wire Ring and Resonance Metal Strips. Wave motion can be slowed down to a frozen or slowly moving image using a stroboscope.
